Our Vision
Ross Institute for Advanced Study and Innovation in Education was established to promote understanding of the implications of globalization on pre-collegiate education. It serves to bring together leading scholars, educators and policy makers in order to incubate new ideas and act as a catalyst for educational change. The Ross Institute through its close affiliation with Ross School, a laboratory school in East Hampton, NY, is a not-for-profit research organization dedicated to exploring and applying innovation to pre-collegiate education and building links between pre-collegiate and tertiary educators.
About Ross School
Ross School is unique. With an emphasis on media and technology education and a curriculum that highlights cultural understanding, Ross School offers a distinctively successful education model that can easily be scaled up to other school. This model has proven successful in preparing students of diverse learning, socio-economic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds for meaningful lives and active participation in the global community at a time of monumental, rapid-paced change. As a “lab school”, Ross School welcomes educators and scholars from around the world to come to the School and incubate ideas and innovations in education. Ross School also collaborates with the Ross Institute serving as a model school and helping to extend an innovative education model to other schools.
The Ross ethos embraces learning and encourages young people to develop and apply their gifts as life-long learners and world citizens who celebrate difference, value teamwork, and respect their responsibility for the future well-being of our local and global societies.

Our sponsors are rewarded with the knowledge that they have contributed to the growth of an amazing endeavor that is making an impact on pre-collegiate education each day. With over half of Ross Students receiving financial aid, we are thrilled to report that 100% of current graduates are accepted to four-year institutions of higher education and that 40% of these students are the first in their families to go on to college or university.
There are many opportunities available for corporations, foundations and individuals who want to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
